What Causes Acne?
Acne is a long-term skin condition generally associated with breakouts of whiteheads, pimples & greasy skin and in some severe cases can lead to scarring. Whilst acne is a treatable skin condition not all treatments are as successful as others.
HORMONES: Puberty, premenstrual flare, disorders with high testosterone levels, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, anabolic steroids and oral steroids.
OILS: Contact with the skin through occupation or cosmetics.
STRESS: Increase in sebum glands activity during period of stress.
Why Do I Have Acne?

Signs and Causes of Ageing Skin
As your skin ages and is exposed to UVA & UVB rays, the rate at which new skin cells develop slows down. As a result, the balance of new skin cells versus old is changed. Additionally, collagen and elastin begin to break down causing the skin to loose resilience.

Take the first step to strengthen the skin’s natural defences and reveal brighter, more radiant skin with vitamin C. This facial is for dry, normal, oily, or even sensitive skin. A cleanse, toner and gentle extraction with the Hydro-Facial machine are included with LED phototherapy. It is advised to avoid the sun after this treatment as your skin will be very sensitive.
H2O & Obagi Enrich Facial
Are you up for RADIANT skin? If so this treatment includes an Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE professional peel, which helps with uneven skin tone and a clearer complexion. The Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE helps with fine lines, rough uneven skin, blemishes, and mild to moderate photo ageing. A cleanse is included. This facial is best done during cooler climates, YES no sun worshippers for this treatment as it hates the sun! Sun exposure has to be completely avoided for at least a week after the treatment with the use of SPF 30. A consultation is required before this facial. Note: this facial is a PEEL so prepare for that ahead, scheduling wise.
H2O & Obagi Signature Facial
A Vitamin C facial, yes vitamin C isn’t only for ingesting! This treatment helps in brightening the skin with chemical exfoliation. A vitamin C serum is used with a Professional –C Peptide Complex. This facial deeply cleanses the skin by leaving the chemical exfoliation on prior to leaving the clinic, which helps in skin renewal. It is also deeply hydrating for the skin. A cleanse, toner and gentle extraction is carried out using the Hydro-Facial machine along with LED phototherapy.. A broad spectrum SPF 50 is used to protect against the sun, and the sun should be avoided as the skin will be very sensitive to it.

Obagi Daily Hydro-Drops in this facial is a lightweight serum that dispenses gold-standard ingredients onto your skin. A cleanse, toner and gentle extractions are included using the hydro facial machine, with LED phototherapy. It is advised to avoid the sun after treatment if possible as the skin will be sensitive to UV damage.
