Meet Soniya Behrens
My career in the medical/dental field started well over 20 years ago. Dentistry is a field that deals with the whole face as well as the mouth. I really found my calling after qualifying in 1991 as a dental nurse, first I pursued to become an oral health educator which was so much fun. then New York was my calling. I studied dental hygiene and graduated in 2007. Whilst working in Westport Connecticut for 7 years, I met a plastic surgeon who pretty much introduced me to the world of aesthetics, Dr Ellen Mahoney. A leader and advocate for women and excellent plastic surgeon.
Upon my return to the UK in 2015 I first started training with PRP treatments, which were relatively new in the aesthetics industry. Naturally I was fascinated by the skin and its capabilities to rejuvenate with the right procedures, and products. Thereafter I went on many courses but to set the stage I completed my level 7 in facial aesthetics, an Ofqual regulated course. I am constantly learning and thriving to become the best at what I do with a passion.
